Hello, and thanks for your interest in my portfolio.

What sets me apart as a UX designer is the unique fusion of experiences that have shaped my approach to design. Two decades ago, my career journey began in nursing school, driven by a deep passion for helping others. Although I ultimately shifted careers, the core of who I am—someone dedicated to service—remained steadfast.

At the Postal Service, I didn’t just fulfill my role; I led as a union president, representing my colleagues' best interest in negotiations with management, honing my leadership and empathy skills. Transitioning into UX design was a natural extension of my commitment to understanding and improving people’s lives. I approach design with the same dedication I brought to my previous roles, leveraging user research to uncover insights that inform intuitive, user-centered solutions. My work in redesigning websites and crafting engaging digital experiences is rooted in a genuine desire to make a difference for the end user.

This blend of healthcare aspirations, leadership experience, and UX design expertise uniquely positions me to create designs that are not only functional but deeply empathetic and impactful. I am passionate about solving real-world problems through design and ensuring that every user’s experience is both meaningful and seamless.

In my spare time, you can find me exploring the beautiful nature trails around Tucson with my family. We moved here from Kansas and have fallen in love with the stunning landscapes and vibrant community of our new home.

I invite you to explore my portfolio and reach out with any questions or feedback. Hope to hear from you!
