I conducted a Usability Study to determine what problems, if any, that users encountered with my prototype. The parameters of the study: Moderated study, 5 participants in the United States, with a duration of 20 to 30 minutes.
Key Takeaways from Usability Study:
1. Users benefit from multiple navigation methods.
2. Users want to be made aware of delivery fees prior to checkout process.
3. Users want to receive updates on order status.

1. Color contrast was checked on WebAIM. Text size was kept over 16 pt, but mostly higher.
2. Icons, photos, and buttons are all labeled with text to enable ease with screen reader technology.
3. Consistency across all devices was a top priority to allow users to switch between devices seemlessly.

If I were to continue with this project, I would
Ask for feedback from a mentor and coworkers
Seek approval to proceed with a second Usability Study
If I were to do this project again, I would
Make more screens! This project was based on my first ever UX project (the Blooming Boutique App), so there was a huge learning curve with both projects. The extra time it took ultimately led to my decision to feature one possible user journey.
I would also consider taking a different approach to the design overall. My goal with sticking with the flower shop UI status quo was to minimize the number of interactions that a user would need to take. This design allowed for much information to be held on the homepage.
